tv junkie post
May. 30th, 2013 12:05 amOMG has anyone here watched gdgd Fairies on Crunchyroll?
I'm not a fan of anime but something about this show has me hooked. Here are my ramblings.
We've almost watched all of the episodes though, which makes me sad because it's just the perfect show to fill 15 minutes before bedtime or whatever.
We also got sucked into Archer this week...will probably blog about that later when I'm not in the DANGER ZOOOOOONE!
Oh that never gets old.
At least, not for me. I'm sure Tim will be over it pretty quick if I keep doing it LOL.
I am highly amused that both the incredibly raunchy and over-the-top animated series AND modern-day-western series that we are watching now air on the same network. FX Execs - I like you.
Had some people over on Sunday for an Arrested Development premiere party. It was fun, we watched the first 3 episodes of the new season. Honestly, I was sorta disappointed but the one review I read online said those are the worst of the bunch, so I will try to pick it back up later on. I just didn't like what they had done to Michael's character. And I was also really distracted by whatever Portia di Rossi did to her face :(
Venture Bros is back this weekend! Actually excited for this if only because of ALL THE BUILD UP! I was late to the VB game but managed to catch up on all the seasons and STILL have enough time to say "HEY WHERE ARE THE NEW EPISODES?!?!"
So, yeah, that is pretty much what I've been doing the past week. That and running. We have been going for runs after work and then we come back and watch one of the above shows while eating dinner.
I know, I need to settle down, I am SO WILD!
:-)
I do have some plans for fun during the summer. Trying to get a horseback ride on the books (Tim and our friend Carol have NEVER BEEN ON A HORSE which for some reason just appals me...maybe because it was such a big part of my childhood). Carol also wants to go on a zipline so we've been looking at the outdoor adventure parks in the area. Still need to see some damn movies!
Oh, and of course, we have the Metric concert next weekend. :D Which will also be a belated birthday/graduation party for
lostacanthus.
And now I'm going to move towards my bed...not sure what I will do once I'm in there. I keep saying I will read a book but then I play Candy Crush on my iPad and end up staying up way too late. So maybe if I go in there now I'll be out of lives by 12:30 and have time to read for another 30 minutes before sleep takes me down....
toodles!
