April 8 Question
Apr. 8th, 2014 11:31 pmJust ripped about 6 Chieftains CDs into my iTunes so I can transfer them over to my iPod for tomorrow. Tim **loves** the Chieftains and since he will start off driving tomorrow (and possibly do the whole trip, it's hard to wrestle the steering wheel away from him, especially on the going there side of the adventure) I wanted to make sure that some of his music was also available to play. I'll have Spotify, of course, if we need something really random, and my other 8000 songs or whatever haha. I love playing DJ.
Yes, tomorrow we leave for BOSTON!!!!!! I get to see
bittertwee and there will be shenanigans. Thursday we will bum around, Friday we will hit up PAX (only day I could get a badge for ARGH!), Saturday we will visit my family in Maine (because I am a bad granddaughter/niece and haven't been up there in a few years now), then Sunday I will visit my other BFF in New Hampshire. I like my trips to be whirlwinds!
I will have my iPad but will probably fall behind on my questions since I hate typing anything out on the touch screen! SORRY!
hellonelo asked What are some of your all time favorite biography books?
On Writing by Stephen King (totally recommend the audio version because Stephen reads it, so good)
Born Standing Up by Steve Martin (totally recommend the audio because Steve reads it AND plays banjo)
Stitches by David Small (one of the best graphic novel memoirs that really makes use of the medium. This story would not have been as powerful as text only)
Sleepwalk with me and other painfully true stories by Mike Birbiglia (this was his stand-up act for awhile and eventually became a movie, but the book is just as good.)
