tv thoughts: Grimm, OUaT
Nov. 9th, 2012 08:28 pmCatching up on my shows tonight...it was a...full day...not quite ready to rejoin the real world yet. Tomorrow is soon enough, what with work and all.
SO - show thoughts!
Grimm: So I just watched last week's episode and I liked it, though I expected the intern to last a little bit longer! But that might all come back later, knowing this show. I did like it though, the idea of the crazed Grimm's that just want to kill all the Vessen. Reminds me of Kendra in Season 2 of Buffy and her struggle to see vampires as anything but dust-to-be. The real WTF moment was with Juliet though, at the end...what will she remember, what is the point of this memory wipe? This spell? Seducing her doesn't really make sense unless she's got a connection to something we don't understand.
Once Upon a Time: Watching Tallahassee as I type this. I really love the four women together, adventuring. Aurora and Snow's relationship is quite intriguing, their connection via the sleeping spell. The way she can care for Aurora the way she didn't get to care for Emma. And I wasn't really thinking of Emma/Hook but...well, he's such a hottie, it's hard to not want to ship him to keep him around. But I'm also a sucker for a scoundrel (Star Wars upbringing and all) so I might be biased. Nice to finally get a look at Emma's backstory too. And OMG AUGUST WTF! Overall, I'm liking this season a lot more than last season. I'm so happy they had the courage to change gears and change the story.
Still haven't caught up on American Horror Story. Need to watch episodes 3 and 4.
