me too!! It's just so cool to see adults who still know how to have fun and don't feel like they can't play dress up anymore. When we decided to do a fun picture, with our hands behind our heads, they were so psyched! They said they usually can't do that stuff with kids cuz it freaks them out, but they love goofing around with adults. That reminds me, I need to email them that picture!
I do love grownups that don't take themselves too seriously. Amazign costumes, but they had no problem letting the kids touch them. One little girl ran up and gave Darth a big ol' hug! it was adorable!
Such a great group of people, all of them were really friendly and a bit on the goofy side. Even one of the pages that worked their who said she had never seen Star Wars was following the troopers around (though she also thought one of the younger stormies was "hot" - which in itself was amusing)
Did some of those stormtroopers roll around in the mud or what? Guess that's the problem with white armor- it shows everything. Martha Stewart said that, I think.
silly Becky - those are the Sandtroopers from 'A New Hope', they are supposed to be dirty. As Anakin said (even if he delivered the line poorly) sand "gets everywhere". They are also the troopers that delivered the classic line "Look sir, droids!"
No joke, I actually have the boxed set of "Dirty" troopers, all pre-covered in dirt for my enjoyment. I mean, if you don't have a little dirt on your armor, you obviously haven't been given any interesting assignements. Probably just patrolling the halls of the Death Star, and that was only exciting for them for one day...
