If you're a new friend or considering me as a friend, I wanted to say hi! I'm going to try to start posting here more often since there appear to be a lot of people migrating over from livejournal to DW. And I need people to discuss fandom/shows/movies/life with on a regular basis!

Welcome! Most likely you will find my talking about television shows, picking them apart (I was am American Studies major so taking popular culture and trying to figure out what it all means is my crack). I have a large collection of Joss Whedon academia books (mostly Buffy studies but they are slowly publishing stuff for Firefly and Dollhouse).
Waiting impatiently for the release of 'Bioshock: Infinite'. Replaying DragonAge II right now because *someone* borrowed my copy of Batman Arkham Asylum over a year ago and has yet to return it. He PROMISED it would be back very soon...and I want to replay that to get the rest of the achievements and try some of the new DLC.
Oh, and I am a librarian by profession so I also post about books, reading, and the occasional rant about people not disrespecting the library LOL. You have been warned. :)
