orangerfulIndiana Jones Action Figure and Toy Archive which includes the best Nazi action figure ever! haha. Oh man, so Indy gets cool whipping action and TOHT gets super-fast 'Sig Heil'! hahha. Oh and the creator wonders why Kenner stopped with the line. Could you imagine kids playing with little Nazi toys?
Oh, and Belloq! He comes with A REMOVABLE MAP! oh the fun we shall have in the sandbox with HIM!
Just more proof that I need a time machine, if only to go back and buy these figures. I mean, what kid wouldn't want the Streets of Cairo Adventure Set!, it comes with a squatting Marian!
This just cracks me up, since they ragged on Lucas last year for promoting a PG-13 movie to children with RotS. Now, Raiders was PG, but that was because PG-13 didn't exist yet! I think if Raiders was made today, it would get a PG-13. (though it doesn't look like the 'temple of doom' toy line did so well, but the site creator makes it sound like that was the companies fault not the movies...)
Aaaand, you learn something new every day! I thought that 'Temple of Doom' was the first PG-13 movie, but in double checking myself, what I found out was it led to the creation of the PG-13 rating! Apparently, since it was only a PG rating, parents were all upset, what with the hearts being ripped out and all, so Speilberg was like "then we should have a new rating!". Oh Wikipedia, what ever would I do without you?
Anyway - even though I poke fun, that site is pretty cool! Obviously took a lot of effort to find all these figures since I didn't even know an Indiana Jones line existed! I only have this one from Disneyland!
