I just finished book 1 of 'FullMetal Alchemist' - I really liked it! It was a lot of fun! Bits of humor and action and the plot wasn't as complicated as I thought it would be. So I just went ahead and ordered book 2 from Pratt (for some reason, our system only own book 1??? weird). I added disc 1 to my netflix queue too. How many manga does it take to make an anime? I don't want to watch the dvd until I've read the corresponding mangas.

I've also decided that they need to make CG movies out of the Kingdom Hearts series. I tried to play the first game but I'm not very good at RPGs, especially the more "hardcore" ones like square enix makes. But they ran the trailer for KH2 on X-Play yesterday and it was so pretty, and I could just watch the whole game instead of play it. I never played FF, but 'Advent Children' was so pretty! I had no clue what was going on but so pretty...

though I bet getting the rights to a FF/Disney movie would be crazy. I think they should go for it though, if only to please me.

How can you not be good at Square RPG's? They don't require skill. It's menus and button-pushing. And repetition.

i've heard about FullMetal Alchemist. so you liked it? do you recommend it?

Kingdom Hearts - i think i played one of those games. making a movie would be cool. i've never played FF either but did think Advent Children was pretty too.

I only read book 1 but it was fun. My friend verdatum is more of a anime afficionado, but he told me of all the series out there, FullMetal is one of the few that gets a thumbs up from both camps. So definately a good place to start.

I just wish I knew what was going on during 'Advent Children'. I feel like I ned a FF-Wiki to understand it!
