You know what's hard to find in a store? an air popper! Our popcorn popper died the other night, so we went in search of a new one yesterday -- Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, Best Buy, Wal-Mart - none of them had a simple air popper!!! (BB&B had a this silly looking thing, but we just wanted a normal one!)

So, they forced me to go to Amazon!! I didn't want to, I had to! Of course, the model we went with was only $24.99 and I wanted free shipping sooooo I bought 2 CDs on my wish list. (jimithingy called me an Amazon slut!) Then I used the free trial offer for Amazon Prime and got free 2-day shipping, so our popper and music should be here on Tuesday! HUZZAH! Just in time for the Veronica Mars premiere!

We have 2 episodes left in season 2 that we will watch tonight!

We're up to disc 3 of 'The Office' season 2. So close. We've taped the last 2 episodes of that so no spoilers!!

Lost starts this week too. My goodness, my schedule is full!

Ooh- The Office just gets better and better. My favorite thus far is the second to last of season 2 (Conflict Resolution?). I'm watching them in reverse, apparently, since I've seen dics 3 and 4 of season 2 and almost none of season 1. I'm so glad that I'm finally hooked again on a show with a plot and characters!

I have disc 1 and 2 on order from Netflix, which I just joined last night after being charged yet another late fee and getting some crappy attitude as well at the little video place down the street. (and it's independent.. which makes me sad.. but they've gone from a whole store to 1/4 of the basement of the local bookstore, so clearly they Just Don't Care anymore)

Ah, welcome to Netflix, which is sort of independant too (at least it's not blockbuster!). I just emailed you a friend invitation - it will say it came from AD in your inbox. Then you can see the insane amount of movies I have in my queue and laugh! And I can see what you've rated and say "wow, becky watches some weird stuff!" - but don't worry, you'll never be as weird as blu_harvest or simontrueheart cuz those two watch some strange movies...

BUT ANYWAY!

I'm loving the Office. It's such a nice mix of comedy, satire but a dash of drama (with the whole Jim/Pam thing). Though I keep having these weird dreams where I try to find Jim so I can give him a hug. Poor guy. We just watched "The Secret" last night. Half of that episode was Jim looking sad at the camera! aaaaw.

You should add Veronica Mars to your list! It has the Joss seal of approval!

Ah, so many movies, so little time. I need to watch the few I have lying around because I got sidetracked with all this catching up!

Office Jim is a master of little looks at the camera. I think he's funnier than Steve Carrell, whose character I sometimes find uncomfortable rather than funny. Anyway, I think AD looks a little like Jim, so you can give AD a hug instead and it will be almost the same thing.

yeah, we've pretty much decided that if AD worked in an office, he'd be Jim. Even his mom said so! Jim is AD's favorite character.

Yeah, Michael Scott is just a painful boss - but we all know that guy, we've all met that guy so somehow it works, though I spend a good portion of each episode shaking my head and mumbling "ohmygod he's such an idiot."
