Who was your first celebrity crush?

Oh, I wish I was at my parents right now so I could find my "crush" diary.  Let me think - I believe it was (you're gonna laugh) Kevin Costner.  Yes, I saw 'Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves" in the theater way too many times.  I was really too young to know anything beyond the fact that I thought he was cute.  I don't think I really dreamed of smoochin' him.

Now, you want to talk smoochin', my next embarassing crush was Scott Bakula.  I loved 'Quantum Leap', and I even tried to write a script so I could guest star.

BUT my first real poster boy?  Sean Patrick Flannery of 'Young Indy'.  Such a cutie.  (though to be honest, I was probably more infatuated with Young Indy.)

David Duchovny was probably up on my wall the longest.  I even made a little business card saying I was a member of the DDEB - the "David Duchovny Estrogen Brigade".  (yes, this is when Internet entered my fandom world, and I met other people crazy enough about DD to actually create such a club name.  He was the first celebrity I really started to research and memorize facts about...

I would not laugh, mostly because my first celebrity crush is even more embarrassing. Aaron Carter. Thankfully, I've outgrown them.

As of right now, Jensen Ackles, Patrick Dempsey [Yes, I know he's married, but he's still so damn cute.], and Jared Palalecki are mostly the only guys on my wall.

Don't we hold a candle for all our celebrity crushes no matter what? (wink)

So many of my crushes now are the characters and not the actors since I haven't done my research in awhile (I like to make sure that the actors are nice guys before I start hanging up pictures). and I have so many categories for my crushes now! There's the hottie crushes - Brandon Routh, Tom Welling etc - There's the funny guy crushes - John Krasinski, Zach Braff - There's the brain crushes - Joss Whedon, Brian K Vaughan - There's my girl-crushes - Natalie Portman, Kristen Bell....

Honestly, I don't have enough wall anymore!!

Ah, celebrity crushes. I believe my first was Neil Patrick Harris as Doogie Howser. Later I was completely enraptured by the red haired boy in Adventures in Babysitting (Anthony Rapp.) Later it turned out they were both gay. Coincidence!? ... Probably. I still felt vindicated. :)
