If Facebook and MySpace have made my realize anything it's this:

I don't take pictures of myself. In fact, I don't really have any pictures of myself. Because...I know what I look like, why would I want a picture of myself?

And no one takes pictures of me because...well why would they? jimithingy lives with me, he sees me every day, why would he need to capture me on film/digital media when I'm sitting right here...

And since I rarely leave this fortress of solitude Samitude, no one else gets a chance to take my picture :P Except co-workers.

ya, on the few occasions i've had to dredge up a photo of myself, i found it difficult, CAUSE I DONT HAVE ANY! lol

seriously, I have very few photos of me, and even less where I am not making stupid faces. I just uploaded a baby picture to Facebook, because at least my funny face is a cute face!

yeah, I always think it's funny when there's a news story about something tragic and the picture they show of the victim is all grainy and features some sort of weird facial expression. Couldn't they have found a better picture? But often the answer is no- after they've grown up, people get a lot fewer pictures taken of themselves. I think that might be changing, though, with digital and cell phone cameras being so popular (although how many of those pix get deleted?). Also, I've noticed lately that when something bad happens to a young person, the news people just lift their photo off their myspace page.

I just had a decent passport photo taken, believe it or not! I'm thinking of figuring out how my new scanner works, so I can post it alongside the old one, just to give everyone a laugh..

omg, my passport photo is HORRIBLE! I doesn't expire until next year, so I don't need a new one for our trip to Bermuda but I'm going to be embarrassed when I hand it over at the airport. I was 16 in the photo, I have horrible hair and a zit. haha. So bad.

I think all the recent pictures of you that I know of are from movie premiers. Superman, Serenity, Star Wars (not that recent true, but more recent that baby pictures anyway!)
