Hello! I am alive! And clearly a very slow reader. :( I think my entire flist has finished the book, except for me! AH!

I worked yesterday though, so that put a crimp in my time. And I read slowly. Very s l o w l y.

Anyway, I'm on page 404!!! I figure if I put my mind to it, I can finish HP7 by tonight! Then I'll read all your loverly, spoilery posts.

(I know i don't need to say this, but do not comment with spoilers! I'm still checking my email due to a chance to get free John Mayer tickets, so I might accidentally read that Harry is made out of chocolate, and that would ruin my reading experience!)

It's marzipan, my dear. Harry Potter is made of marzipan. :(

Now, Daniel Radcliffe IS made out of chocalate but that, as they say, is another story.

Harry isn't made of chocolate. Or is that considered a spoiler? *grin* My mother asked me if "he" died in the end, when I spoke to her on the phone just now, and I refused to tell her, so don't worry I wouldn't dream (even in my worst night-mares) of posting spoilers here. Happy reading!

Yeah, now that I've finished the book, I have to be very careful about what I say. Especially at work, since I'm sure a lot of my co-workers will not have finished yet! Or the patrons! *zip*

Seriously, I've never read a book that fast before. I don't think I've ever just sat and read for that long before. I'm so ADD some times. I'm amazed that I survived! haha.

a story they should film and run every Christmas. Or, at least, right now.

you worked on Sat and still made it to p 404 by noon on Sunday?? That would make ME the slowest reader alive- it's 1:00pm on Monday and I just made it to 404. I just flat out can't do more than 250 pages a day- my brain gets all mooshy and I gloss over key details. And I decided to finish book 6 on Sat (100 pages), since I had come so close to my goal of re-reading all the books. Glad I did, since my memory was that Voldemort was the 1/2 blood prince! Yes, that's a crucial detail, being that it's the title of the book, and yes, I did read the book once before, in the same hurried pace I'm reading B7 at now. This is what happens when I try to rush through things..

Hopefully I'll have the book finished by Tuesday night. Thus far I am pleased. I'll try to post the Mugglefest pix- oh, I was meaning to ask, what's the best site to post phots with captions? Most captions will be short, but I can see a few being a couple of sentences..

You must realize that is my normal reading pace time 10! I've never read a book so quickly, but I just wanted to find out how it all ended!

I use Flickr (http://www.flickr.com/photos/orangerful/) for my photos. It's free. It lets you add titles, captions, even little notes on the photo itself. (though the only reason I chose that one is because I had a Yahoo account and they bought Flickr so I had a Flickr account ready to go).

Plus, they let you post your photos right to livejournal (like the post I made last night) so that's helpful. :D

...and if you make a Flickr account, you better add me as a contact!
