orangerfulYeah, so I started watching the Emmy's at 8:30, and I've already fast forwarded through so much of it, I'm caught up. So now I'm going to goof off on the computer until I have some fast forward time to abuse. (seriously, who opens with two songs?)
I pretty much skipped everything with Ryan Seacrest. I still really don't understand who he is...he just sort of exists to be there. I enjoyed Terry O'Quinn's pink shirt and black tie with sparkles combo. Daring choice. Katherine Heigl telling everyone how to pronounce her name. And the silly little "best writers for a comedy/variety show" bits they created.
The "topical quotes" montage was HORRIBLE! And this "theater in the round" set up is confusing everyone who comes up for their award as they have no idea what direction to face. Baaaad.
I did see Kristen though! She was in a pretty blue dress and sitting next to Masi Oka!
I think I'm going to play in Photoshop and listen to the last disc of 'Amber Spyglass' *tear*
