Okay, so I figured out why I was having trouble with Drexel's site this week. Last week, I installed AdBlock on my Firefox browser to make those stupid Snapshot things on LJ go away!

Apparently, the program also had an issue with the way the message board on the Blackboard site it set up and was crashing Firefox. So, I disabled it for now.

jimithingy's mom and I are going to see 'Tamburlaine' tonight. I know absolutely nothing about this play, except that it was written by Christopher Marlowe. Avery Brooks is playing the lead. He was awesome in 'Othello' so I'm sure he will rock this role as well. And, bonus, the play is in the shiny new theater! This is our first time there. I just hope they still have cookies at intermission! Mmmmm...Gingerbreak Shakeskpeare Heads...delicous.

Today has been weird. I woke up late, then ended up going back to bed for an hour. I really need to put myself to bed at a decent time tonight (though I probably won't get home from the play until 11pm and the finale to 'Next Iron Chef' is on at midnight....(okay, it's on earlier than that but my DVR will be busy taping Dexter and Family Guy :P)

you can add certain domains to the adblock whitelist...clicking the menu in the top right corner and selecting "disable for .com"...just turn it off for the whole drexel/blackboard site....perhaps that'll clear it up
