orangerfulPeople, READ THE BOOK FIRST!!!!!
According to IMDB, Scott Smith did write the screenplay for the movie, but thereis just no way they can capture the horror of the book in movie from. Nope nope nope. He's already changed stuff. Different things are happening to different characters (and two very important characters seem to be non-existent in the trailer). Plus so much of the book is psychological, it's seeing it from the other character's point of view and seeing who is losing it in their mind, what deep dark things they are really thinking about, etc..
So, needless to say, I am leary of the film. But if Smith really did write the script, then their may be hope.
