RDM debunks something in the podcast. Not really a spoiler, more a "yeah, that's not gonna happen so I'll just tell you now".



Ronald Moore just said in the podcast for Islanded in a Stream of Stars that Kara is not related to Cylon!Daniel at ALL! He said it sorta lost control and he saw all the chatter on the Internet and he didn't anticipate the "cult of Daniel". He says that there will be nothing about Daniel in the finale. He didn't want us to get our hopes up.

He also said that he knows he did too much of the Upset!Adama during the Galactica falling apart sequences. At least he knows.

Well...that makes me feel both better and worse. Worse because I was in love with the idea of Kara-as-the-first-hybrid and I thought it explained EVERYTHING (i.e. her connection to the 5, to Earth, to Hera)...without that, I don't think we'll actually get any answers as to who/what Kara is and why this was her 'special' destiny...which makes me sad...(A part of me is still hoping he's just lying so that the 'Daniel' reveal actually surprises a few people).

...However, I feel much better about my love & respect for RDM now that he's admitted to the ridiculousness of using so much Adama-falls-apart screen-time instead of cutting that and including more relevent material...Still...the fact that he didn't figure out it until after the episodes were already edited together makes me a little bitter but...what are you going to do?...

Yeah, i have no idea how it will end now, though RDM seems pretty sure that we'll be happy with it.

Listening to the commentary, he explains that they were shooting these episodes and preparing for the finale, which was taking up a lot more time than a regular episode, so I get the feeling he hadn't even seen the final cuts of these episodes.

The next podcast is going to cover all 3 parts of Daybreak...how will I listen to it without crying!

After seeing Deadlock & Islanded...I kinda suspected RDM had checked out for a while cause...there was just some BAD editing in those eps...

I also have some ideas of how certain storylines will end but I'm at a loss at what the entire series ending will be. Hopefully, something with at least a little bit of hope mixed into the darkness:)

I don't know how I'm going to make it through the finale...Lots of tissues will be used and lots of alcohol/chocolate consumed:)
