CURSE YOU AMAZON AND YOUR GOLD BOX DEALS!!!

I just bought this set. I'd been holding out on purchasing Dark Crystal and Labyrinth on blu-ray because 1) I already own them on DVD and 2) they usually end up in the bargain bin after awhile. But today Amazon had both of them + Mirrormask as the Gold Box deal on sale for $38 - About $12.60 for each blu-ray. And even though I've only seen Mirrormask once, I could not resist, especially after I read the reviews on blu-ray.com.

This and the Blu-Ray Boxed Set Deal of the Week was the Bourne Trilogy...yeah, bought that too for 50% off.

And some day I might even have time to watch all these movies...

Hey, at least you're getting good deals on them. :)

I personally have to stay far away from Amazon right now. They send me emails and I (sometimes with great effort) delete them. *sigh*

Also, I LOVE your retail therapy icon! Did you make it? Is it up for sharing at all? Of course I'll probably have no need for it for some time because I'm dead broke, but I adore it so!

I know, I try NOT to look, but every now and then they put up something that I've been waiting on and I can't resist. Usually I delete all their emails unless it's the free mp3 downloads.

We're looking into a new high-def TV and if we get it (likely as a mutual anniversary present) the first Blu-Ray I want is My Neighbor Totoro.

The TV is one thing, the sound is another. Audio on blu-ray titles just blow me away. I've HEARD more things than ever before.

Oh, and stay away from blu-ray.com...because it's SO hard to resist a blu-ray sale when you read their rave reviews of movies you want to buy...
