I want to have some kind of "teens decorate the teen area" activity for our summer reading, and am negotiating with our teen librarian over what to do and how to do it. There isn't much wall space, but I'm thinking of having teens do art, favorite quotations, and short original poetry to put up on the walls. I'd love to have your opinion!
We've got a "Wall of Dreams" for the kids to hang up their artwork. I think it would be fun to just cover a wall space with butcher paper and let the teens "graffiti" it with their hopes and dreams. I'm not super thrilled about the "own the night" theme but whatever. :)
