countdown to Hobbit!

This time tomorrow I will be eating dinner at DuClaw withmaybedeadcat, having a pint before heading over to the movie
theater to get in line for midnight HOBBIT!!!!!!

Seriously, I feel like I have to have a beer before Hobbit...just feels
right. I hope it's good! I am really curious about what PJ & Co. did to
expand the story.

In truth, I'm not a die-hard Tolkien fan. I have never read any of the
books (though I did listen to the radio drama version of Hobbit earlier
this year). I'm not big on reading fantasy - I have no patience for world
building so I never get very far in reading any of the books. But I ADORE
the movies. I watch the extended editions every December (just watched
LotR:FotR on Sunday). The movies are so well done, the story flows, I love
the characters...*sigh* they are probably one of my top film series evah.

Anyone else seeing Hobbit at midnight tomorrow?

It's really the only way to go :) Trying to decide on what I want to actually *eat* now...they have crazy good burgers but I'm kinda craving fish and chips since I can't make that at home.
