Andrew posted this list from Blender Magazine, apparently they decided these were the 50 worst songs ever. Now I disagree. I can think of songs far worse than these, and some of them are just overplayed or overrated, but they are still good songs. I must lodge complaints about a few. and agree with others

Okay, I had a huge post detailing my like/dislike of some of those songs. But it was too insane to read. Needless to say, I disagree with half of them. Most of these tunes are too new to qualify as "worst songs ever". I'm not American Idol fan, but I'm sure Clay Aiken can't be the worst song ever. I've never heard it but it's too new.
Five for Fighting should not be on the list. "Superman" is a great song, though it was overplayed to death because of 9/11. But years from now you will be able to listen to it and it will be enjoyable. Just let it sit for a bit.
Billy Joel - we didnt start the fire is a bit dated, but it's a great tune and if you know all the words you can impress your friends at parties.
Beatles? Never. if I had to pick worst beatles song ever, I'd put "you know my name, look up the number" or how about "run for your life"?
Two Princes is just for fun, as is Breakfast at Tiffanys,....I dare you to listen to these songs and not come away from them at least humming the chorus

*sigh* "Worst" is such a harsh word. Its like "HATE". Some of these songs, if I heard them on the radio, I would change the station. Others, I'd listen to and most likely sing along. Most of them are just plain old "Bad 80s" which is a blanket term I use for any one hit wonder from that decade.

Whoever wrote this list was bitter. Probably a DJ. You learn to hate the good tunes when you're a DJ.

Angel has been over there dancin for an hour now, I have to post this before I go crazy.

i think i could watch angel dance all night long
i was watching an old epsidoe of buffy yesterday on fx
where she has that new boyfriend
i cant think of his name now
but the guy she fell in love with who is like in that underground army or something?
and angel all comes back
and they are all three in buffy's room after angel and the other dude fight
and angel kicks some righteous ass
then they are punching each other again in the room
and buffy threatens to kick both their asses if they dont stop
the one army dude backs down like a pussy
angel is ready to dispute buffy's claim that she'll kick his ass
but one look from her reminds him that she's the slayer
and he sits down
good stuff
angel is all like "you actually sleep with him?"
and points to the dude
that prompted the punch
good stuff
angel is so cocky and the man when he's on buffy
ah buffy
she is insanely hot in that episode too for some reason

We didn't start the fire is a fantastic song! and I'm really not a big fan of 80s popular music!

And also, the worst Beatles song is -and I believe almost inarguably so- Octopuss' Garden.

Buffy is always hot, but you are right, Season 4 buffy is really hot.
Angel is hot too, though now not so much as he's gotten a bit chunky in his old age. I still luv 'em, but he's not quite "Hot" anymore. (But he's married to a supermodel so what does he care what I think?)
Reilly is a dork, always has been always will be, and I can't wait until we get to the episode in season 5 (the dvd set we're on now) when he freakin leaves! The only bad part it, when he comes back in season 6, he's married to a chick named Samantha! I finally get a character with my name and it's army boys wife! Yuck!

I'm so sad Angel has been cancelled. I hope the WB execs have nightmares for the rest of their lives!

Hm...okay if we're going for worst Beatle's single, that would probably be top of the list. But what about those random things on the White album? Like "wild honey pie"? "One after 909" isn't a very good song but I don't think it was ever a single.

And I thought of a song worse than "Ebony and Ivory" - "freedom" ugh, that song is so lame, even by McCartney standards (I love paulie but boy can he write some sappy songs)

Angel's dancin' either way.

well, wild honey pie makes me laugh. Rocky Racoon, on the other hand, just doesn't do it for me.
And "you know my name, look up the number", off of the anthology 2 anyway is kinda good in ya ask me.
