orangerfulFinished Andromeda Strain. I love Michael Crichton novels cuz I read them so quickly I feel like I'm smart. haha. I'm trying to pick a new book. I have a collection of short stories by stephen king which I started on last night but I'm not sure if I'm in a King-ly mood.
Does anyone know where I can buy trading cards like the Buffy promo one I got in the mail (and posted about) awhile back? I went into Target but all they carry are baseball and YuGiOh. I want Buffy!
AD downloaded the multiplayer version of Civilizations III. That game is rough though. The English demanded I give them my horses for nothing and I said "Hell no!" and they declared war on me! And then the spanish pulled the same crap. So it's just me and them, because I think the French are still neutral. Freaking spanish destroyed my one city, burned it to the ground. But I don't have enough gold in my treasury to really do anything back. And, of course, Adrian's city is across the ocean on a whole different continent. But I found him! And then the game crashed. But it saved before it detected it's "out of sync" message, so we can pick up where we left off.
I went to the Limited yesterday and did a little interview. Had to take one of those phone tests that ask if you're planning on coming into work stoned and want to steal things. So unless I was too honest on that (or ya know, pushed the wrong button), I think I will have a part-time job starting Monday. I have to call the lady back today after 7pm. We'll see if I can do this.
Adrian bought donuts yesterday but I'm not sure if they are only for him or if I can steal one. ho-hum. guess I'll have some cookies first.
