endless cycle of Sims...

This happens every time. They have announced Sims 4 and I WANT IT SO BAD! I haven't played Sims 3 in months but I don't care because Sims 4 will be better!

I wish they would release the specs, I'm curious to know if my PC (which I pretty much had built to PLAY Sims 3 on it's initial release) can handle Sims 4. I hope so. I think I read somewhere that MAXIS/EA was trying to build it so it wouldn't require massive hardware upgrades from everyone. Usually every time I have to get a new computer it is because of a Sims game LOL. You'd think I would learn?!

They also announced a new Dance Central game for Xbox One...but it only comes with 10 songs! (and one of them is that AWFUL "Talk Dirty" song which I cannot STAND!...though it might be fun to dance to). I'm so close to just buying the Xbox One. But maybe I can get Santa to chip in...

My first thought was I hope you don't play sims like them, for instance, with such an elaborate skill based backstory - except they actually have zero points in those skills! That always drove me crazy. :P Also, I hope you can play more than one household. I hated that you couldn't in 3, because after skipping too much the system always bugged. (And I downloaded a patch that made it impossible for other sim families to have kids... yeah... apparently that was a universal issue.)

And I guess it'd be nice for it to work on our computers. :P

Ugh yeah I think the reason I never got as into Sims 3 as I had been with 2 was the one household thing. It had its pros and cons. It was great that the childhood friend could go to college with my kid sims. But I didn't like when sims would die lol.

I want it SOO bad! I don't have Sims 3 yet since my computer is super old and barely plays Sims 2 when the mood strikes me. It just looks so fun. Ah! I may wait to get a new computer (well once I get funds for it) and make sure it supports Sims 4, hehe.

I think that is going to be my plan this time. I had thought about getting a laptop (I have never had one before) but I think another desktop will be a better option.
