Hello new friends!

Crazy thunder storm outside so I'm not turning on my real computer, just browsing LJ on the iPad so I will keep it short cuz typing on here is a bear!

It was hella hot today. Heat index was over 100. Mostly hid inside at work, though our AC was struggling to keep it at 80 in the main part of the library. Pretty sure the blowers in the children's area are not working. Back room was, of course, freezing. Came home and the AC in the apartment had blown a fuse. Working now but ugh it was hot for awhile.

oH! And I ordered chipotle online and they forgot my lettuce and guacamole!! Lettuce is free, but that guacamole was $1 so I was a bit upset about that when I got home. Going to stop there tomorrow and try to talk to a manager.

Just saw everyone's posted about Sherlock series 4! Not surprised it is happening but sorta surprised it probably won't air until late 2015. It's a hit, let's schedule some time now guys! I blame cumberbatch who has appeared in every other movie since 2012!

In other news, I'm doodling to amuse myself. It's pretty fun even if I'm just ok.

It was almost 100 today too, but without the index I think my car read 95 at three o'clock. I was DYING.

I'm excited for series 4, just wish it wasn't that far away but I'm with both Martin and Benedict are booked until then and that's the earliest they could do it. *sigh*

Guess we should be happy that they are dedicated to their actors. You know an American show would have just replaced them and started churning out series after series...I guess I can wait as long as we keep getting that awesome cast back every series!

It was really hot here today as well. I think it got up to 97, but I'm not sure what the heat index was. Yay summer?

How annoying that they forgot your guac! I think here it's like $1.80 for it, so I would be super mad, haha.

I'm excited for series 4, but it is so far away. I'm tired of waiting two years for more Sherlock! It does make sense, though, since both of the main actors are huge movie stars.

I got a free guac and chips on my way to work yesterday and then a reply to my email to Chipotle customer service that offered me a free burrito coupon. So I forgive them. <3

Yes, I am happy that they keep the same actors for each season and don't try to replace them since they are both SO BUSY now. I can wait for more Cumberbatch and Freeman. :)

Chipotle does have really good customer service like that. If they mess up they acknowledge it and not only just fix it! They go above and beyond to ensure that you go back. One time, I went with my boyfriend and they were out of chicken and steak, which is what we wanted. We had to wait for 15 minutes while they cooked up some more, but then they gave us 50% off our entire order, so I thought that was super cool of them.

Oh man, non working AC is the worst at work. I can deal with my house being hot but I hate working in the heat. No fun at all. Hopefully they get all the vents working soon so the entire place can be cool.

Seemed to have kicked back into gear yesterday, or maybe it was because everyone finally left town for their vacations. :) It was so cold in the back room, I was ready to make hot tea LOL! ***sigh*** public buildings FTW?

I'm actually surprised that the wait is so short for series 4. Maybe that's because I'm conditioned now to wait a really long time between seasons. Or it's because I still haven't seen series 3 yet. It just got to Netflix and I haven't gotten around to watching it yet. But I don't think the show aired here in the states until this year, so if the next series airs late next year, I think that's a shorter wait than the wait for season 3 was.

Oh and I think they put the Unlocking Sherlock special up on Netflix too, which was SOOOOOOOOO GOOD. SO give that watch too. :)

I don't think Series 3 was over here until...February? I dunno, I couldn't wait for PBS, I had to have it as soon as I could. :)

Interesting. A lot of what I heard was that series 3 really wasn't as good as series 1 or 2. Not that it was bad, just that it wasn't at its best. But I'm looking forward to seeing for myself. :)

Arhtur ***juuuuust**** missed us today, I opened up the weather app and saw the GIANT RED CLOUD off to the east so we lucked out. Made the weather gorgeous. I will take 80 degrees over 100 any day!

FOR REALZ! I love their food but I love guac more. They gave me some free guac when I came in to complain yesterday and customer service is sending me a coupon for a free meal. So yay! I forgive them, we are BFFs again.

Who forgets lettuce?! I can see the guac because it's an extra so it's not like it's on every burrito but lettuce goes on pretty much every one unless there's a request to leave it off.

Hope they give you a free something to make up for it.

I wish the BBC would lock down filming time for Sherlock and get them out at least once a year... so much waiting!

I KNOW! How did they not look at my bowl and say "what? no green things? does she hate green?" because who doesn't get lettuce???? It was weird. They did give me free chips and guac yesterday and I'm getting a coupon in the mail for free meal so we are friends again.

Haha, I really like typing on my iPad 8D;; I'd recommend getting a small bluetooth keyboard for it, though. It makes things so much smoother.

I have a bluetooth keyboard but the keys are soft and I don't feel like they react as well to my typing speed. Though I haven't really practiced much on it to break them in LOL. :)
