I do not like it when someone sends me instructions in VIDEO format and
only video format. When I'm at work, I don't have easy access to sound on
my computer (hello, LIBRARY) so it's a bit of a hassle to find headphones
and sit and listen to a 20 minute video on how to log into a Wiki and
manage a page. Just TELL me in writing. The video can be a supplement, but
I prefer to read instructions and work through something.

This also applies to news articles I want to read and then click to find
out it's a video only report. LAME.

LAME!! I am the same way. There are a few things I'm interested in watching video how-tos, but for the most part, just write it down....!!

Yep, sometimes you just want a step by step checklist so you can skip to the part you actually need help on. It's like looking at Google Directions. I know how to get out of my neighborhood, I skip to where things get crazy! haha.
