Ant-Man Teaser Trailer

I am...underwhelmed. I mean, any girl that grew up in the 90s and saw Clueless has a soft spot for Paul Rudd but this trailer did not make me want to see the movie.

I don't know anything about Ant-Man though, maybe hardcore fans will see more in it? It all feels very serious and the character is called Ant-Man so...I feel like that might be the wrong angle.

I'm actually very tired of superhero films. I think we need a five year break from them.

Yeah, I am right there with you. I enjoyed 'Guardians' and 'Avengers' but the fact that MORE are on the way isn't interesting to me. But I guess there are people who are fine with the same thing over and over. I mean, look at all the mystery books that are the exact same formula and they just go on and on? I don't understand that, it doesn't appeal to me.

Plus, I don't feel like any great care is being taken with the next batch of superhero movies. They are just being churned out to make quick cash so it doesn't even feel like there is a chance of being surprised.

Churning them out doesn't even apply to just movies though! Later in 2015, Disney Junior channel is releasing a new TV series: Lion King Avengers. "Baby" Lion King characters acting as the Avengers...

Okay, wow - that was not at all what I was expecting. I find the lack of a whole team of heroes, space travel, and big fight scenes in the trailer VERY REFRESHING, though. I thought this looked extremely cool, actually.

I know absolutely nothing about Ant-Man either XDD;;;; But this teaser seems promising? I'll make a note of it at least and not ignore it completely like I did with Guardians XDDDD

I have to agree with you, I'm so underwhelmed and have zero desire to see the movie. The only way they had a chance of drawing me into this one would be if it were funny, really really funny. I cannot take a hero named "Ant-Man" serious at all.

With how Marvel's doing lately, I think it'll be a good film, too. I'm a fan of the comic series, or at least one specific mini-series, so I already know what to expect, but it is a little underwhelming.

But then again, this is a bit of a teaser.
