Did you know about this? Grim Fandango Remastered

OMG and while Googling for more info on that, I found out they are also looking into a remaster of Day of the Tentacle.

If you don't know, both of these were classic point and click adventures, but they were Lucasarts/Tim Schaefer style adventures, which means you don't die, you just have RIDICULOUS puzzles to solve. It was less about survival and more about figuring out the game's quirky sense of humor.

I cannot wait to get my hands on both of these games, I'm sure there are layers of story and humor I have forgotten.

And I was going to do some cleaning up but I just found out Sims 4 is Free-To-Play for the next 48 hours on Origin...so yeah, screw that! BRING ON THE SHOW (we have 3 Winter Weather warnings, the weather is being described as "complex" so yeah...better this week than next week when I'm trying to get to Florida!)

Yep, and yep. Not sure why exactly we need these updated version, though, the originals are such treasures! Just port the originals to formats that can be played on today's systems. That's all we need (and want???).

They did an updated version of Gabriel Knight too, though I would still recommend the original. There's no Tim Curry in the new one!!!!

Well, at least it more of a "remaster" than a full on "new" version. If you watched the Grim Fandango trailer, it looks like the original but won't be as pixely on our modern monitors. :)

They aren't going full Tomb Raider Reboot or anything LOL (man, I miss adult Lara Croft...I hope the sequel is more kicking ass and less "oh noes being a tomb raider is hard!")

Also, above all else, TIM CURRY SHOULD NEVER BE REMOVED FROM ANYTHING EVER!!! I stopped listening to The Series of Unfortunate Events books as soon as he left has narrator. NO THAT MAN IS A PLANETARY TREASURE! (I'd say national but he's British and his appeal is universal)

Hahaha, I know, right???? If you haven't played Gabriel Knight, I warmly recommend them. ESPECIALLY the first game, it's fantastic :DD

Somewhere in my closet, there is a Grim Fandango floating around, along with Monkey Island and Day of the Tentacle LOL :) Not sure WHAT I would do with them now but yeah.
