tuesday tunes: insane in the brain

orangerfulBit of backstory for why I am posting this:
We are hosting a science program at the library all this week. The 12pm class contains about 15 soon-to-be 3rd graders. Today we were discussing the parts of a cell. The teacher was going over the different parts, and he eventually got to the cell membrane.
And I kid you not, TWO of these 8 year olds sang out "INSANE IN THE MEMBRANE!"
WTF. How do they even KNOW that song????? Do they still play it on the radio? I feel like even their parents would be too young at this point...
So then it was stuck in my head the rest of the day. So I am passing the earworm on to you. You're welcome. :P
