It looks so good! It's definitely going to be hilarious and fun to watch. Of course, I pretty much love anything that gives the horror genre something new and interesting, especially with the metaing in a unique way similar to things like Scream and Cabin in the Woods. Of course, this looks like it will definitely have more comedy than those, but still. It reminds me of the Wizards of Waverly Place episode where Alex and Justin were trapped inside of a horror movie, lol.
Plus, the cast looks amazing. Nina, Taissa and Alia? YAS PLS.
Oh, there's another Final Girl movie. Okay. The stream of squee on my Twitter feed makes a lot more sense now. See, I keep thinking it's this one, which looked kind of awful, and I couldn't figure out why everyone was getting so excited over it. Completely different, clearly, heh.
whoa yeah that does not look good at all...at least, the trailer wasn't very good. Reminded me a lot of the "Homecoming" episode of Buffy when they are running around, fighting in their fancy dresses.
I HATE when Hollywood has two movies with the same name. In this day and age, how is it NO ONE caught that before the release???
I guess the S on the end of your one was enough to make them say, "See, it's a totally different title!" or something.
The thing is they're both meta-narratives. We seem to be getting inundated with those lately. The first was probably Scream, although I'm not sure about that, which is the movie I'm reminded of most from the trailer here. They can be awesome, like Cabin in the Woods and Detention, but I really hope this isn't turning into the next horror trend. The trope is in the title. That's either a good sign, or a really really bad one.
