i have mad skillz

orangerfulOkay, not really. What I have is the ability to make it appear that I have mad skillz, while in fact, I am doing nothing out of the ordinary.
Case in point - Wednesday I was working at The Limited. They keep track of how much you sell. We don't get commission or anything, just just want everyone selling a certain amount per person per shift yadda yadda. Anyway, I was the only person there Wednesday afternoon. The two other manager types were in the back area, doing work type stuff, so I was greeting and in charge of the fitting rooms. So of course, since I was the only person there, people said that I helped them, and I got credit for the sale. One lady came in and started picking out tons of stuff, all full price stuff, and I asked her if she wanted a fitting room. She said no thank you and kept shopping. Anyway, when she checked out, her total was over $1000 AND she said I helped her. So Andrea, the manager, keeps complimenting me on how good I am, but really, it was just by default that I look good.
Second scenario - Figured out how to take the music from my DVDs and I'm now transfering the Muppet Show songs to my computer from the DVDs I have on hand. It sounds like I have some sort of technical expertise if I tell this to the lay person, but honestly, all I'm doing is ripping the DVD the same way AD showed me and taking the mp2 file it creates and changing it to a WAV file.
Monica asked me to start babysitting again, which is cool. Be nice to hang out with the kiddies. I'm only asking $6/hour since I'm gonna eat her food, enjoy her community pool, and probably ask Alex to get me more tickets and CDs. Now to just find more ways to mold her children bwahahaha!
I invited Paul and Damian over this weekend, hopefully they can come and hang out a bit. Manders is still out of the country, I got her postcard from London 2 days after I got her e-mail from Barcelona. Crazy.
Hot Topic has Fraggle Rock dolls!!! Wembley and Boober! Boober is so cute with his little hat. I wish I had spending money so I could buy them. *sigh* come on library job!! The Fraggle Rock DVD is scheduled for release this fall. Just one so far, but if everyone buys a copy, they will probably go ahead with the box set.
