Minor report on Minority Report

We're catching up on Minority Report which isn't amazing but still enjoyable. It's bordering on being a police procedural, but the side plot is saving it a bit.

BUT WTF IS UP WITH VEGA'S BOOBS??

I mean, seriously, I feel like every outfit they put her in, it's like, BOOBS!!!!!!

They are becoming a new character on the show!

Honestly, it reminds me of Tru Calling with Eliza Dushku and her boobs. The show had a fun plot, decent stories, but every episode had to include a scene of her running with her boobs.

It's just getting very distracting at this point.

I did like that when they showed a big bag of money, Obama was on the $500 bill and a woman (it went by too fast for me to see who) was on the $100 bill.

But still...BOOBS! (I'm not crazy, I Googled "minority report boobs" and it appears that almost every review makes mention of them). It's not that I think she shouldn't ever show off her chest (they are nice) but it appears that the only outfit that Vega owns consists of a low-cut tank top and a pleather jacket that doesn't quite zip up all the way. She's like a cartoon character.

(also, that actress is NOT comfortable in those heels. She walks very awkwardly. Plus, those shoes are ridiculous for a cop to be wearing. I don't care if it IS the "future")

I haven't watched the show, but I know what you are talking about. I love me some boobs, but it can get very distracting when there is no reason for it.

Basically, people should look sexy and hot when it is appropriate for the story and character, no matter how much I want to see that stuff, out of context.

Yeah, and it probably wouldn't be quite as ridiculous if it wasn't the SAME outfit every week, like they got a good deal on tank tops and jackets.

Hahahah wait what, I have not heard about this show - is it a TV adaptation of the film by the same title???

It is actually a *continuation* of the story from the movie, which is what drew me to it. It's supposed to be ten years later or something. I really like the premise but it teeters on the edge of just being a cop drama...but there's just enough stuff going on with the precogs to make it interesting. It's good dinner viewing LOL

Yeah that kind of stuff takes me out of the story if it's really gratuitous, it feels like it's more about the director wanting to sex up the show

I've heard that Fox cut the episode order from 13 to 10, so it will probably end up cancelled. It's a shame because it's good but I haven't been enjoying it as much as Limitless, which actually got a full season order.
