Here comes the weather!

They seem pretty darn sure that we are going to get some legit snow here in Maryland. Sometime tomorrow it is supposed to start and then just keep going, at least through Saturday. I heard 2 ft at one point but we will see. I know where the shovels are and we've got plenty of food because I always stock up because I hate going out shopping after work. Anyway, I'm hoping that it is enough that we don't have to work on Saturday because I'd love another 3 day weekend LOL.

xfirefly9x suggested that I change my LJ settings so I get an email when you all post so I don't fall behind on my flist. So my inbox is just FULL of notes now. I'm all caught up, took me about an hour to read them all, commented when I felt the need. I'm hoping I got all of you modified now so I get emails.

We've had snow and temperatures of -13 to -21 C (8.6 to -5.8 F) for about two weeks now. It's driving me crazy! T___T; I mean snow can be fun, but this cold!!! I don't want to leave my flat at all.

Is it rude of me to say that on the news here in Norway today there were some smiles because of all headlines and warnings over there, over what we don’t consider a lot of snow, certainly not anything dangerous. I understand the infrastructure to deal with this is different there vs. here and that the power lines may go for some time, but it does all seem a little strange up here. But I do hope you stay warm and dry, and that you get that day off to relax and do whatever :D
