my one reality tv show is back!

Amazing Race 5 kicks off on Tuesday. It's my favorite reality show because it doesn't depend on viewers voting or any of that crap. I was a bit pissed last year when a few teams started stabbing each other in the back, but that only lasted about one episode, cuz when you have to meet up and hang out at the end of each leg of the race, you tend to not want to make any enemies. Mostly, it's about running. The contestants this year all look a bit too pretty, though they do have the obligatory old couples.

We watched about 4 "Dead Like Me" episodes yesterday and caught a late night airing of Quantum Leap. Leap seemed really short. Maybe Sci-fi channel just has too many commercials. I've noticed when TNT runs Angel, they don't put commercials where they are supposed to be, maybe Sci Fi puts too many in. Ah well.

I got sunburnt yesterday. My back and chest are hot pink. I slept alright though, but I was really tired. It's not bothering me right now, but then again, I am just wearing a really baggy t-shirt. I have to be at work at 4:30 - which means nice clothes, which means clothes that will probably rub on my sunburn. At least it's only for 4 hours. That's not so bad.

OH! I got honorable mention in last week's kessel_run icon contest. I thought my icon was crap, and now I know how to actually do the effect I was trying to do, so I think it looks even worse haha. But apparently that's just me. hehe. I'll probably get something for starwars_stills since only 4 people entered and I think my icon is quite good. We'll see if anyone remembers to vote.

yeah, after I got the "nobody is your friend" response, I went and updated my LJ interest page. Turns out I never added Star Wars! Can you believe it? So now I have a friend, yay!
