I didn't even know the Casual Vacancy mini-series had happened! That sounds like a storyline that will resonate with many people. I've also heard that the drug that can be used to save people when the overdose on opiods has become insanely expensive - not sure if it is due to a shortage or greed or a bit of both, but if the government begins to pass that bill on to the addicts and their families...the hole will just keep getting deeper and deeper.
