PSA: Library Jobs (kinda)

Some full-time and part-time positions have opened up in my library system. Feel free to pass it on.

The two full time positions are for a systems network specialist and maintenance mechanic so not exactly "library" work but you get to be a part of the fun!

Do y'all have trouble keeping systems people? We have a terrible time of it on the federal side, they can make so much more money elsewhere. We have to find people who are more interested in going home at five than making gobs and gobs of dollars.

Yeah, we have not had good luck with keeping people recently. The person that left to open up this position had been with us FOREVER but pretty much everyone else around him was new to the system. And, yeah, our pay scale for IT is pretty ridiculous when you look at other jobs. Maybe we should put the "GO HOME AT FIVE" thing right in the job advertisement.
