Donuts: Is there anything they can't do?

orangerfulI gotta stop making icons with Natalie Portman. I had this *really* weird dream with her in it last night. Of course, I also dreamed that Snowden was the size of a kinder-egg toy and that The Limited was no located on the 5th floor of a building with no walls. But the Natalie thing was freaky. Yeah, I'm not telling you anymore cuz I've blocked most of it out.
Long day of babysitting. I think Snowden has gigivitis. She bumped her gums today and it started bleeding like a mo-fo. Freaked me out. She recovered pretty quick though. Her mom is taking her to the dentist on Friday, so hopefully that will be the end of that. Working at The Limited tomorrow at 9:30 until I dunno when. Andrea mentioned something to be on Saturday about having to stay later on Wednesday, so sometime between 2:30 and 6:30 I'll be outta there hopefully. And Thursday right now I am FREE FREE FREE! But I still haven't been to see Joanne's gallery of photos, and this is the last week, so I want to do that at some point on Thursday.
Man, Amazing Race was weird today. Money became a real issue for 3 of the teams. Nicole tried to pull a fast one and pay the taxi driver in half Kenyan half American dollars, but he was like "no way, American dollars" so Brandon was said whatever, give him the cash. They went inside and she bitched for a bit, but like Chip said to her, this money is far more important to them and she should just suck it up. I think she was just really stressed out after the whole 100 mile taxi drive over sketchy roads. Colin, on the other hand, was a total dick. I mean, I understand that he was stressed, but to take it all the way to the police station and push the guy so far that he was ready to press charges, that was just stupid. Some part of his brain should have clicked on when the officer showed up and said "this is a waste of time". But he was so sure of himself. Christie tried to be on his side, she was tellng him just to leave th $50 on the table for the driver and walk away, but he kept arguing with the guy. Then he tells Christie to shut up after he walks over to the police station. HELLO COLIN, YOU ARE AT THE POLICE STATION! I mean, he was in Tanzania, so of course the police would side with their fellow countryman. And Colin was being a little bitch. I think they purposely gave the teams $200 because the cab drivers were all demaning $100 for the drive to the airport. It was 100 miles for crying out loud! Yeesh. And now we have the twins with no cash next week. I *knew* it was a non-elimination round as soon as it started, it just felt like it was that time again. Colin and Christie need to be eliminated soon though. I think there's a lot of stuff we're not seeing with them, just from other comments that have been made.
I watched on of "Phil's Diaries" today on the website, where he talked about the first episode of this season where the Army Dad fell down and cut his knee open. He didn't say it right out, but I think they held the plane for him at the airport. Editing makes all the difference. Amazing Race is still the best reality show on TV. And they said on next weeks episode, one team takes the Fast Forward and finds out that the challenge in the end is to cut off all their hair! haha. ah, that will be amusing.

Christie needs to come to her senses and get out fast (not out of the race, but she should ditch him as soon as it's over). I couldn't believe it when she apologized for getting mad at him for being a total ass. Their relationship is not headed down a good path.
I hope it's the twins who have to cut their hair. They look so skeletal already, they could be really scary bald.

Phil is cute. And man has he been busy! Did you read his bio? He's been working in TV since he was 19 and apparently he's a god on the Travel Channel and Discovery Channel. Who knew? He's from New Zealand though, so he had to be cool already. :)
