must have been brain dead all week...

orangerfulHere I thought my brain had only been dead today, but I went to check my LJ and apparently 2 of the icons I made for contests I never bothered submitting! Whoops! They weren't very good anyway, but still. At least I entered my good ones.
Quite a long day. Worked at Limited from 11-2:30...it was slow off and on but![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
imabandmagnet showed up around 12:30, so I had a friend to chat with for a few hours (read: quit actually selling at 12:30). Drove home in my freakin HOT car, then came in and switched to shorts and ate the left over hoisen hen that AD made yesterday. Watched the Simpsons episode "I Love Lisa" ("you choo choo choose me?") with commentary. Pretty good commentary too, as the writers just talked about what nerds they were and giggled alot. Apparently the guy who wrote the episode actually recieved that valentine back in elementary school from some random girl. And his wife had the phrase is engraved on his wedding band. I've actually watched over half of Season 4 with commentary now. Sad huh? Now I need to backtrack and do seasons 1-3 with commentary. We watched a TON of Family Guy with commentary, and those are amusing because the cast actually remembers the show (accept for the girl who does Meg's voice, I'm not entirely sure she'd ever watched the show before). For the simpsons guys, it was like 10 years ago, so there's a lot of "it's all a blur now" unless it's a classic episode.
Anyway - then I was going to make icons, but i got distracted cuz "Bend it like Beckham" was on and I was only going to watch 5 minutes but ended up watching about 80% of it. And that's only because Al called and said that instead of moving today, they were moving right now! So we had to drive to Columbia and haul boxes up 3 flights of stairs for a few hours. On the plus side though, I think we earned a free lunch tomorrow! hehe. Yay food. And, of course, now I'm very buff....or just stinky. And I found a whole Zip file of Bend it like Beckham caps for me to work on, and I downloaded the soundtrack too, so tomorrow I can go into BilB icon making mode for a bit.
Action packed day, huh kiddies? I want to make icons but I'm sooooo tired, I need to sleep. So I guess I will make them tomorrow. screen caps aren't going anywhere...okay I did make a few - they are
The Professional icon might just be version 1.0, as I started it before we left, then came home and tried to finish it. And I'll tell you now, my eyes are very tired, and I can't tell if the icon looks blurry or if my eyes just don't feel like focusing anymore. And I think I might change the ATHF icon to just read "What the?" or "What the hell?" Yeah. Okay, bedtime.
