orangerfulI was on Pillowfort and stumbled upon a Muppets community and one of the discussion prompts was favorite Muppets moments. This is ALWAYS the first thing that comes to mind for me. I love this song. It is so beautiful, yet so melancholy. But I must have heard it when I was just a kid and it stuck with me then and it sticks with me now. And any time I remember it exists, I have to post it to make sure everyone else remembers too.
BONUS: After years of not being able to find this song, I checked Amazon and in 2016 they *FINALLY* rereleased the album it was on. I may need to spend that $1.29 to have a copy of the studio recording - though I will always cherish the recording I made off of my old VHS to cassette and then to mp3 LOL. The analog hiss is kind of comforting in the background.
