Yeah, remember how I had a grand plan to post every day this month? LOL, yeah I was off today and forgot it was March 1st.

SO - RANDOM SAM FACTOID FOR YOU!

I'm a FISH! Well, two FISH!

I'm a Pisces.

I don't actually put much stock in Horoscopes. It's funny, when I was a tween/teen, I felt like Pisces fit me perfectly, saying I was shy and introverted etc. but I'm not so sure anyone would say that about me now.

The thing is though, while I might appear extroverted, I keep a lot of things to myself. I try to be sociable and chatty with people but they only get to know so much about me. I'm very private when it comes to my personal life, but very open about my fandoms so people tend to know those things really well.

It's one of those things about my personality that I recognize now and kind of wish I had worked on more when I was younger. I never bonded with my high school friends the way I feel other people did. I never really made those connections in college either. I did make a lot of online friends in college and afterwards because of LJ and being just totally open with my fandom love, finding people to talk about shows with etc. but I didn't really have that in real life.

And it is weird, I am introverted but at the same time, I feel like I draw power from crowds. I'm so excited about PAX East at the end of this month. I love helping out with the library's Comic Con program. I mean, I'm exhausted afterwards, but in the moment I'm just feeding off of everyone else's excitement, if that makes any sense?

Hm, this post got ramble-y. This is why you should submit questions LOL. I'm still glad to take some!

I don't think I'm extroverted at all, but I've had the same issues making friends in the real worlds. I was just thinking about it yesterday. I haven't made a friend outside of an online site since high school.

Yeah, same here. The few friends I've made in the real world were mostly friends of proximity and once we weren't around each other we drifted apart.

It was much easier for me to make friends as a child than as a teen and adult. I was much more open as a kid, but still I liked to be on my own and I have always needed space from other other people. I have always been shy, but open to people I felt safe around. As I have gotten older it takes me longer to feel safe and comfortable around people and I hold a lot back, but I do try to push myself to be more carefree and open. And it has gotten better.
