I guess saying I was going to post every day this month might have been over ambitious. I tend to blog at night and I work Wednesday and Thursday nights so that’s where my groove went. I still have a bunch of questions to work through and I will get to them!

It has been so dry here I started using eye drops because I woke up Wednesday and my eyes just hurt. I was going to blame video games, as I was playing Monster Boy before bed but then Tim said his eyes hurt too! Drops before bed really helped.

I’m watching Umbrella Academy and loving it, but pacing myself because I don’t want it to end. Does it make me a bad person if I say that No. 5 is my favorite? As I get closer to the final episode, I am starting to remember little things from the comic, things about the ending. Hopefully it all makes more sense to me than the comic did.

Ok need to read my book now, birthday and other things have distracted me this week and I have barely read anything. My March reading post is going to be pretty light at this rate.

Toodle pip, y’all.

Dude, I can't even commit myself to blogging every week, let alone every day. I'm impressed you kept it going as long as you did!

I think you know I love Umbrella Academy to BITS. I've been pacing myself a bit more on the rewatch, which is letting me take in more, I think. No. 5 seems to be the top fan favorite after Klaus. He's such a fun little sociopath, isn't he? Actually, I think he's a closet Hufflepuff, one of those "edgy" kids who think they're a Slytherin, until you stop to look at his motivations: everything he does is to keep his family safe. Everything. Even when he's been a jerk about it.

They are all SO completely their characters, it's ridiculous. I was watching some press conference / con Q&A or other, and he was dressed in this sharp, neat suit; Ellen Page had her usual business casual thing going on, Emmy Raver-Lampman was subdued but still glam, and Robert Sheehan had this sheer knit top, a bohemian-style wrap skirt and no shoes. It was amazing.

Nope. He seems to be a popular choice. I saw someone on Tumblr say the whole family has five brain cells between them, and four of them belong to No. 5. I'm only a few episodes in, and I've never read the books so still not entirely sure what I think of it myself. My favorite so far is No. 4/Klaus, but I won't be sure how I feel about all of it until I've seen more of it. I saw someone who's already watched the whole thing say it's beaten X-Men: Dark Phoenix to doing the Dark Phoenix story right, which heightened my curiosity about it. I'll keep watching until it totally loses me, or I finish it--whichever comes first.
