orangerfulWaiting for Vincent and AD to show up. Seems there was some confusion about what time Vince would be home from practice. But AD was super-cool and went to pick him up before I got home from Limited. Pretty slow today, but I did get a SPIFF, so that's an extra $10. Listened to "Once More With Feeling" yet again. I was actually looking for my old Disney mix cuz I was in a showtune-y kinda mood, but I couldn't find it, and "Rest in Peace" was stuck in my head so I decided what the heck. Best. Cd. Ever. I've probably listened to it more than any other CD I own.
Amazing Race Mini Rant - okay, I never liked the idea of the Yields and after seeing this weeks episode, I still don't like it. First of all, it was way to long. Due to the crazy editing on that show, I'm not sure how long, but AD pointed out that it is an HOURglass. And an hour is hard to recover from. I think it would have been better for it to be like 15 minutes. That's a lot of time in the race, but you could easily recover from it if you put your mind to it. And now that Colin and Christie weren't eliminated, it's going to be an uncomfortable 2 hours next week as they attempt to get revenge on Chip & Kim.
Also, what was going on with C&C during the detour? why wasn't she helping him lead the cow?? At first I thought they had misunderstood and were doing it as a roadblock, but when she hopped in and grabbed the clue, I began to think that maybe she just didn't want to get muddy. Ugh, that was tense because they were both so frazzled due to the Yield. I wonder how far behind they really were?
la la la, so V-man and AD should be here any second, I'm gonna get myself together and then it's off to the movies! Toodles!
