Don't GO IN THE HOUSE YOU IDIOTS!

Okay, saw "The Grudge"....*sigh* the things I do for my fandoms. I mean, it had SMG acting in it and Sam Raimi's production money funding it, I really had to see it. Scared the crap out of me. I'm easily spooked though. It was very similar to "The Ring" in the sense that it was the story of being sucked into some evil thing and not being able to break away from the cycle. It was told in a "Memento"-esque style, which had me worried at first, but actually worked really well in buidling the "wtf is going on???" tension. Bill Pullman is in it too. No one really starred in the movie, it was like a thousand little vignettes....vignettes of HORROR!!! I don't want to spoil anything for anyone. If you want a good pre-halloween scare, go check it out.
The people in the theater were a bit weird. I think it's because no one wants to seem scared so everyone talks loud and make noise to compensate for their dread. For example, the couple next to me. I was polite and started talking to them when they sat down, and the wife explains to me that she and her husband love scary movies. She likes the real nasty ones too, like Jeffry Dahmer's story. Anyway, when the lights actually dim and the movie starts, I understand why they like scary movies. She likes to cuddle up and hide. And he like to be macho and yell out "Oh that is so cool" whenever the movie gets tense.
The visuals in Grudge reminded me of "Fatal Frame II". I really want to buy that game, so I can actually play it, cuz when I rented it I was so freaked out within the first ten minutes that I didn't get very far. Something about black and white japanese ghosts with long black hair that freak me out to no end. why is that?
Sad part was we lost
verdatum. He was supposed to meet up with us but the show sold out and we didn't know if he had a ticket or not or what was up (as he has no cell phone). So I think we must have been in line for the movie when he showed up, so there was no way to find him.
I pulled a muscle in my back left side yesterday, probably picking up Snowden when we were at the library. and it really hurts. Plus, from standing at work all day, my shoulder is all tight. wtf - I'm only 23, why is my body doing shit like this to me???
Yay, I can sleep in tomorrow. Cuz I don't have to work until 2:30! woo-hoo....except I'm stuck at the mall until 10:30...YUCK! ah well, Heather is closing so I won't be stuck too late. and
imabandmagnet will be there, so fun shall be had.
Bedtime.
