I did it, I update my livejournal layout. awakencordy had a link to a wonderful tutorial she wrote hidden in her User Info, so I clicked on it and VOILA! It looks like I know code! Which I don't. But still, I made a pretty. :-)

and I stayed up FAR too late doing it. Goodnight!

the banner was actually pretty easy. I was trying to do all this complicated blending and stuff then Adrian was like "why not just crop the pictures weird and line them up". That was much easier. Then I had some wallpaper brushes that I downloaded ages ago and just used those to make the effect on the background. The border was just a regular border that I applied "Motion Blur" too.

As for getting the banner on top, I only tried now because I have the paid account from christmas. Though I think there is a way to do it with a free account, I'm not sure how.
