for 7.5 hours, it went by pretty fast.

Library was pretty busy today. At least, it felt like a steady stream of questions. I was upstairs for the first 4 hours. Managed to get everyone what they wanted. I had one tricky one where the lady was looking for "A+" programming books. Now, you can search for "C++" in the catalog no problem, but if you search A+ the computer gets mad because it has been told to ignore the letter "A" when at the start of a search. So I went online and googled computer programming and found some training courses for "A+ and certification" so I tried "Certification" and voila! all the A+ books popped up. I was so proud of myself. And I actually accomplished this before the patron got bored and dissappeared. I was very happy.

From 5-9 I was downstairs in the kids section. Alot of the kids come in just to use the computers as I don't think they have computers/video games at home. So they just sit there on websites and play video games while their parents wander the library. This one kid today, couldnt' have been more than 5 (he couldn't spell, thatw as for sure) kept asking ME for help! He was like "where's disney.com" so I typed it disney.com for him and he said "no that's not the right place". Luckily, some random kid behind me knew that disneychannel.com was the place for games, so I typed it in for him and left. Later he comes up to me and says "what website is that girl on over there?" pointing to some kid across the room. I told him I had no idea and maybe he should ask her. So he does, and then he comes back to me and says "cartoon network, can you type that for me". Ugh. But, I guess if you don't have a nintendo/xbox whatever, that's the only way for you to play video games. It just annoys me that parents leave them down there. I was so happy when that kid finally left. The rest of the time one of the other librarians and I chatted about video games, movies, and MST3K. Yes, we're all nerds there haha.

Came home and watched LOST. Gooooood episode. But then again, I'm a fan of the whole Sun & Jin story line. I'm not going to say anymore until I know spitefairy has seen the episode.

Capped a few scenes from "Princess Mononoke" today, but ran out of steam to icon. I did make one though. I'm running out of room in photobucket. Should I be naughty and try to get a second account using a different e-mail address, or should I switch to a different photo host?

It's supposed to snow tomorrow. Really snow. I hope it does. I don't feel like babysitting.

Oh, apparently we had an earthquake today! I slept through it, but some of the librarians claimed to feel it. It was a laughable number on the richter scale but it was there.

*how do we feel about the caption on the Mononoke icon? I had "wolf child" "wolf girl" "wild child" and just blank, couldn't decide, just went with the first one. Whatcha thinK?

I like the icons....like that is a surprise. haha. you always do a good job. Looooove the Dido and the 'Got stress' one. too cute.
I like the Mononoke icon. I think 'wolf child' sounds the best. ^.^
