*squee* my LJ friends are cool!
Mar. 1st, 2005 12:23 amSnow finally stopped around 9pm, turned into rain so it can freeze over night and cause mass chaos tomorrow morning. I'm happy I don't have to be anywhere until 11(and that's just babysitting so who cares if I'm late). I am supposed to work WCO tomorrow night from 5-9 though, so I'll have to be careful on the way home.
In other news, my charge card did have the Star Wars Insider bill on it, but I still have not recieved my stupid Hyperspace password crap. Ah well, I only renewed so I could get the fanclub lanyards for Celebration III.
I finished "Artemis Fowl". It was alright, I supposed. It was actually kind of hard to get through for me, something about his style of writing. All that techno-babble about fairie technology and Butler's different guns. *yawn* I am enjoying the Ep III novel "Labrynth of Evil". I don't know why I'm enjoying it, it's not really a brain bender. Perhaps it's because I'm reading it and not seeing it poorly acted. Perhaps the characters are better in my mind. I'm a bit concerned about how much we're supposed to know about General Grievous prior to Ep III release. The book is chatting on about him like I'm supposed to be totally familiar with the Clone Wars cartoons. That's quite a lot of background to expect from your audience if you hope to appeal to more than the opening weekend crowds. Wonder if there will be reviews posted after the premiere at Cannes?
