oh my goodness. What a week it's been. Where to start? Hm.

Well, my birthday went insanely well. I made out like a bandit on all fronts. Let's see what goodies I got:

- Angel Season 5 DVD (wee little puppet man!)
- Wonderfalls DVD set (the packaging on it is enough to make love it, the DVDs look like viewmaster discs!)
-Sonic Collection for Gamecube (all the classic Sonic Sega games on one disc)
-Sonic the Hedgehog T-shirt from Hot Topic (so I can be stylin' while I play)
-Macbeth (with Ian McKellen & Judi Dench...best. production. ever.)

-Star Wars Playskool figures (gamorrean guard, RotJ Luke, RotJ Lando, Skiff Guard)
-LotR figures (army of the dead & elrond from the prologue)
-Wicket The Ewok (mandatory stuff toy)
-Monty Python and the Holy Grail Special Collector's Edition DVD (with script)
-Ipod Shuffle (it's so small!!! I've already loaded all my Beatles songs on there)
-Televised Morality: The Case for Buffy the Vampire Slayer (geeky joss-verse goodness)
-X-Play Gamer's Guide (because)
-Astonishing X-men: Gifted (Joss' latest masterpiece)
-Star Wars:Republic Commando for Xbox (this game rocks. not to blaspheme, but I like it more than Halo)

-$25 Target gift card (I'm saving that for Ep III figures)
-Anchorman DVD (though we have to exchange it because I want it in widescreen...because I want everything in widescreen....AD mentioned a bonus gift too, dunno if he still remembers that he mentioned that but he did *hint hint*)

Hm, and I got a new graphics card for my computer today, which is sort of Birthday fall out, since my poor comptuer kept crashing when I tried to show the Sims to amanda.

We had a delicious sushi dinner and yummy ice cream cake for dessert (I went with chocolate cake, with cookies&cream ice cream + chocolate ice cream frosting).

On saturday, I had several visitors. From 4-6, Alex, Monica, Skylor and Snowden came over and hung out. The kids went straight for the star wars toys, they were amazed by how many I had haha. They bought me a copy of a Buffy DVD I already had so we're trying to work out an exchange (they bought it from Tower Records, and let me just say, that place is a rip-off! Honestly, I'm worth $60, but you could get me so much more from amazon.com or best buy with that $60). Anyway, our apartment managed to survive the kiddos. Then all craziness broke out around 6:30 when I had zaubervz, verdatum, maybemanda,wei, dstntp1lgr1m, destertale and Al and Julie over, which I think is the max limit for how many people can be in this apartment at once. We had a good time though. DDR was crazy fun. Jules, Manders, & Laurel were so cute, dancing together. I wish I had been quick enough to snap a picture. Julie was on the actual mat dancing the song, while Amanda and Laurel were off to the side doing the moves with her...haha. That game is so fun. Then we stayed up until 3am playing Resident Evil 4. Well, Paul was playing it while we cheered him on and giggled whenever the shopkeeper said "WELCOME! WHADDYA BUYIN?" because you really have to.

Then I woke up at 1pm on Sunday, danced for a little bit with zaubervz, took him home, felt a little groggy but went over to Alex & Monica's to watch the kiddos for 3 hours. Got home and felt a bit on the icky side. Woke up monday on the icky side. worked 1-5 at Provinces and came home and knew I was getting sick. There was a freak snow thing going on Tuesday morning, so I told Monica I wasnt going to babysit then promptly passed back out. I went to work at Provinces again last night from 5-9, this time heavily medicated. jimithingy tells me that Nyquil contains some of the strongest hallucenogens know to man. explains my freaky-ass dreams I've been having all week. I woke myself up with "i'm falling!" dreams. Dreamt that I decided to ride my bike to work and got lost and ended up on a beach in delaware. Lots of very weird stuff. Worst of all was this morning, when I dreamt I still had an hour to sleep and my alarm went off. grrrr. I had database training this morning at the library - I learned how to use EBSCOHost and NoveList. And I got paid for it! sweet. Then I babysat for 4 hours. My sinuses are jammed but otherwise I feel pretty good.

Adrian installed my new graphics card so hopefully the whole crashing problem is over now. I can tell you Sims 2 runs a LOT smoother. I need to get to bed as I work the 10-2 shift at Crofton tomorrow.

I finished "Labyrinth of Evil" and i have to say I liked it but now it's just torture waiting for Episode III!! The book ends right where the movie should begin and I can't wait! Don't forget folks - the new trailer premieres tomorrow night after the O.C. !
