Revenge of the Fangirl
Mar. 11th, 2005 06:46 pmMan, that trailer for RotS was fun to watch last night. I gotta tell you. We had just sat down to eat. We were munching on our pancakes and watching the last 10 minutes of the O.C. not knowing what the hell was going on in that show. Then the red letters appeared on the black starry background - and we pretty much froze. And stared.
And after the three minutes were up I had a fangirly-grin on my face that you wouldn't believe. I'm so excited about this movie!!! It's going to be a lot of fun watching all the pieces fall into place. The trailer gave me goosebumps for so many reasons. (Is it wrong that I want to see Palpatine throw down? I mean, usually he just sits in his chair and giggles, now we finally get to see him fight with a light saber and against YODA! sweeeeeeeeeet!). I love the rush I get from watching the previews for this movie. And now that I've finished the prequel novel, I'm that much more excited. The scene where Anakin walks out, his cloak hood up and the troopers behind him....ooooh chills.
Part of me knows it won't be as good as it should be. Part of me suspects that I won't be in love with the film. But there is also a part of me that is jumping up and down, giggling and clapping her hands for joy! For better or for worse, it's going to be a wild ride.

~nods~ I wholeheartedly agree. I just can't wait for the adrenaline rush I'm going to get over all the battle sequences. :D Well, that, and a certain Jedi strutting about. Hee!
