The Hitchhiker's Guide on Blogging as read by Stephen Fry. Not hilarious, but quite amusing. :-)

I still have a $10 Amazon gift certificate from [livejournal.com profile] verdatum burning a whole in my proverbial pocket. I'm just not sure what to buy, or if I should buy $25 worth of stuff so I can get the free shipping. I want to get the Firefly and Hitchhiker essay books...but then theirs the book of essays on Peter Jackson's version of LotR...and Star Wars and Philosophy, and the Dharma of Star Wars....my amazon wishlist is outta control. I usually just get books from them, it's a better deal than borders or barnes&noble. *le sigh* not that I actually NEED anything, but it's $10...its sitting there in cyberspace waiting for me...it's been waiting since March 4th!!!

Amazon.com also has Dressing a Galaxy on sale for $185...but it comes with an exclusive DVD and fabric samples!!! How cool is that? It's regular price is $300! Maybe I could ask for it for xmas....dont' think they'll sell out by then, do you?

Twas a quiet day today, except for the last hour at work, which was insane only because the computers went hay-wire. So we were trying to talked to the computer department at HQ and help patrons. But that was really all of the excitment. I cut lots of little circles out, which will eventually become the ends of the rainsticks they are making for Summer Reading Program. While on the desk, I think I convinced one of my co-workers to sign up for LJ...which would be very cool, cuz she is cool. We think alike, watch a lot of the same shows, definately, as Anne of Green Gables would say, a bosom friend hahaha.

I had that movie on the brain earlier, as I was thinking about dying my hair, and [livejournal.com profile] jimithingy said I should get it done professionally, and I was thinking that would be expensive, so I was thinking I could do it myself, then I though of Anne and her "raven locks" turned green. And then I decided I was a wussy who would rather spend her money on star wars toys than her hair. hahaha. I need to read "Anne" again, I remember enjoying it.

I asked [livejournal.com profile] dstntp1lgr1m to interview me and he asked some deep questions - Damian I am working on the questions I'm just trying to figure out the answers myself!

1) Total number of films I own on DVD/video: 79 "films" on DVD by my current count.
2) The last film I bought: with my own money? Hm...."Spaceballs" which was actually a xmas present for [livejournal.com profile] jimithingy, most of my movies I ask for as gifts or get free from Alex as payment for babysitting (Incredibles!)
3) The last film I watched: In the theater - Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy on DVD - Oceans 12 on TV - LotR: RotK on Starz
4) Five films that I watch a lot or that mean a lot to me: Star Wars, LotR, Garden State, Labyrinth, Shakespeare in Love, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind
