bioshock infinite thoughts - spoiler free

So, I'm a good chunk of the way through Bioshock Infinite...at least, I think I am. There's really no way to know without tempting spoilers. Things don't make a ton of sense yet but...there are a few things that have fallen into place. Sort of.
What I really love about this game is how many times it has surprised me. The twists and turns have literally had me talking to the screen, saying "WTF?" and "OMG!"
That, and it's just gorgeous. I took Adam Sessler's advice and I'm taking my sweet time, wandering around, looking at all the artwork and statues, soaking as much of Columbia in as I can.
And Elizabeth...well, there is a reason I'm using this icon for this post. But I do love her. One of the best things I have ever seen was the note on the screen that said "Don't worry about Elizabeth, she can take care of herself." YES! This is NOT an escort mission game. This is not Resident Evil 4 with Ashley screaming for "LEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOON!" every damn minute. She is there for her story and to assist you, but she doesn't need Booker to survive.
OOOOooooh but now it's like the last cookie in the cookie jar...if I eat it, there will be no more cookies (until someone makes me some, but in this metaphor I am too poor to afford cookie ingredients for awhile). If I finish the game, the surprises will be gone...I'm hoping it is something I will want to play again (mostly because I want to get the achievements and most of them are just for killing enemies with the rest of the weapons/vigors I have been avoiding).
Going to play a bit more in the morning...but I really want to make it last. I will miss Elizabeth, Booker and even Columbia itself once the game is over (and even the damn Lutrece twins...)
