Henson co. looking into Dark Crystal sequel. YAY!

I started watching Attack of the Clones today with the commentary on, just to see if they point out anything I might want to know for Ep III. Lucas already promised he would tell us who erased the jedi archives and who ordered the clone army in ep III...I hope he remembers that he said that! jimithingy just pulled Phantom Menace off the shelf to we're gonna pop some popcorn and watch that now. I was going to watch it anyway tomorrow while he was at class because I didn't think he wanted to see it again, but this works out nicely. I don't remember them running TPM as much on cable as they do AotC? Did that have to do with the popularity of the film? I feel like I've seen AotC a million times more than TPM. Ah well.

Off to watch Jar-Jar get abused and Darth Maul kick some ass.

Whoa! A sequel to The Dark Crystal would be awesome, but I have this overwhelming fear that without Jim Henson's perfection it will flop and fall on its ass, especially when they toy with notions of video games and an animated series. I don't know. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Heh, my buddy miss_tinkermel was just equating Grievous' walk (from the CIII trailer) to that of the Skeksies (sp? Do I even have any idea what I'm talking about? *laughs*)

Dark Crystal kinda weirded me out in my childood, but I'd love to see its sequel. :)
