ten thousand years will give you such a crick in the neck!

I watched Aladdin today. Disney has come a long way baby. Al was a hunk though. Sweet guy too, though not the brightest bulb. 'sokay though. *sigh* why must they make these bad sci-fi cartoons now? Atlantis? and soon "treasure planet"? I just want my fairy tale musicals. They were always good. This strange realm of animation and computer animation seems to have screwed them up. Boys and their toys. I just cannot see "treasure planet" being any good. It won't have any songs. The animation already looks lame because of all the CG things they are incorporating that are so obviously CG. The characters look all futuristic and sci fi. I need to see Lilo & Stitch. that's supposed to be good. But it's about an ALIEN! oh well. At least Beauty and the Beast will be on DVD soon. God, that was an amazing movie. Is an amazing movie. I'll probably watch it tomorrow. The animation was beautiful. The characters were drawn well and acted well. The songs were hilarious and unforgettable. Just groundbreaking. I remember seeing it in the theater several times. I remember one time, some kid behind me said in advance that the Beast didn't die and i was so upset because i thought they had ruined the movie for my parents. hehe. My only complaint was the way the Beast looked when he was human. I didn't think he was so attractive. He needed to look more like Aladdin. He's sort of Michael Bolton-y which is a tad scary. I wonder if Belle made him grow a beard, just for old times sake. Would that be too weird? Disney probably wouldn't go there.
