CRIKEY!

Croc Hunter is LIVE all this week. Watched the first 2 hours tonight. Steve is insane. He's covered in mud right now. But he's not as smooth as he would have you think. Took him about 6 tries to rope the one croc, while on other (edited) episodes it usually takes 2 at the most. But it's very amusing. This is my kind of reality TV, when you actually have to worry that the main guy could get eaten. Had a little blood in this episode, I think the croc got Steve's hand. He didn't notice until about 20 minutes later. Today he was moving crocs, tomorrow he's doing something with snakes I think. Should be interesting. It's noon in Australia when it's 9pm over here. It's late fall there too, but I think he's far enough north that the weather is probably still pretty warm. I love Australia.

Funny Cide lost. What a let down. Reporters are saying that he was too excited and the jockey couldn't hold him back. He wasted all his energy in the first half of the race. Usually he runs in the back or middle of the pack, but on saturday he ran in the front and ran out of steam. Poor guy. I'm still excited about Seabiscuit though.

Adrian and I are going to move in together at the end of the summer, probably around August. We need to find a place to live though. I don't want to live in a sketchy place, but I can't pay that much for it. The search begins in earnest in July. Wish us luck. (and if you see any good places to live, let me konw!) hehe.
